► Brief Introduction
The M1116B recorder module offers thermal recording capability for the PHiliphhilip patient monitoring family, including the V24/V26 and the PHiliphhilip Intellivue system. M1116B recorder, it can write up to three superimposed waveforms and three annotation lines. The PHiliphhilip M1116B module offers ten speeds.
The recording service retrieves current and stored PHiliphhilipysiological and state data to format a continuous tape recording. A recording can be triggered manually by the operator or automatically by an alarm condition. The registration service uses the services of the recording interface to control an M1116B recorder. The registration service can also send data to a central recorder.
► The printer interface manager provides a high-level interface to a printer. It provides the means to:
1. Establish a connection to the printer
2. Transfer the data to the printer
3. Get printer status
4. Close the connection to the printer
The printer interface manager also monitors the connection to the printer and whether the printer accepts data (eg, more paper). The printer interface manager informs the operator in such cases.
► Cleaning recorder printer
Long periods of recording at low speeds (1 or 2cm/min) can accumulate paper waste on the print head and cause uneven thinness of the horizontal stripes.
1. Remove the recorder.
2. Open the door of the recorder and remove the paper screw from behind the rubber roller.
3. Tear off the excess paper or roll it up into the roll chamber so it doesn't get in the way.
4. Pass a cloth cleaning strip instead of paper through the rubber roller until about 2 inch strips come out of the top of the roller.
5. Close the door of the recorder and align the ends of the strip with the top of the door.
6. Pull the strip out of the recorder, holding the top edge of the cleaning strip between the thumb and the index finger.
7. Open the door and make sure the paper cavity is dust-free. Please throw away the paper and replace the recorder.
